2009-2011 GL Air Suspension Components
I'm curious if the reliability and longevity of air suspension components on 2009-2011 GLs have improved.
I found a few MY 2009-2011 GLs in my area that I like that have between 60 & 100K miles. I'm concerned that the air suspension components would fail soon.
I really like a 2010 GL550, but it already has 96K miles.

The air struts are not very expensive to replace if you get from Arnott. They are also not very difficutl to DIY. If you don't have time or desire to DIY, just go ahead and replace all four at once and be done with it. You will have a super reliable car for another 100,000 miles or more.
To answer your original question, no, the air suspension will not be any more reliable than the early models. However, after coming from a car with ABC suspension, airmatic is a dream to own and maintain. It's not a reason to run away from the car.

Thanks for the input. I think I'll pass on the 2010 GL550. They're asking $33K for such high mileage & other items are not working.
