Code P2457 - Diesel Particulate Filter Differential Presure Sensor Circuit High
(apologize if you've already seen it in benzworld. I really want to find out the scope of the fix.. after spending $4K on leak oil cooler seals and adblue tank heater two weeks ago... All diesel related!...)

DO you do a lot of idling or drive a lot of short trips?
How many miles arte on your GL?
Someone else replaced the sensor and said it was an easy job. (not sure which thread)
There are companies that clean DPF for $400 to $500, but no one has reported on the results.
You may want to check that code. It shows P2457 - Exhaust Gas Recirculation Cooling System Performance
It is discussed a bit on Sprinter forums.
online research shows P2457
is "EGR cooling performance" related, different from what CanOBD2 tells. EGR valve was replaced by dealer two weeks ago due to its leakage.. I'll send it back for a diagnosis.
However it is a GREAT DEAL less expensive than the DPF filter itself so it probably is worth taking a chance on changing it out to see of that fixes the problem.
About 2,000 miles ago, the dealer replaced my DPF Pressure Sensor. In those 2,000 miles, I have only averaged about 18 mpg. In the 7,000 miles prior to the replacement, I averaged about 21 mpg. I've only owned the vehicle for about 9,000 miles.
Any thoughts?
