Other than stealership
Replacing the left front strut cost me $1050 from stealership. Since I no longer have an extended warranty I'm trying to find a local mechanic shop. Anyone know of a good shop other than dealer in Houston area who do work on GL? Mine is 07 GL450.

I am in Houston also. What dealer did you use before? I have actually gotten good service from Star Motors, honest anyway.
As far as independent shops there is one in the Woodlands area, DRC Import that does mainly Mercedes Work. They are good as well and will supply a estimate over the phone on something like a strut/shocks.
