Tire Options for 20" rims on 2012 GL450

Tire Options for 20" rims on 2012 GL450

I have the 2012 GL 450 with the Appearance package's 20" rims. The stock tires are 275/50 and seem to be very expensive to replace. 275/45 or 275/55s or 285/50s are much more inexpensive. Will those sizes fit? Any issues with those sizes? What sizes / brands do others recommend?

I looked for other posts with this information but didn't find any.

2011 GL450 P2, Appearance Pkg, Leather. 2012 C250, P1, Sport, AMG Wheels, Panorama Sunroof.
