Standard feature on 2009 GL550

Hello all,

The question i have for 2009 GL550 is, does it come with keyless go as a standard feature?

I saw some with the standard turn key slots and not the push button as expected.

Thanks...
AW

I don't think any of the W164 models came with Keyless Go standard. There may be markets where a dealer (or a few dealers) ordered every car with KG but it certainly wasn't a 'standard feature'.

The button to start has nothing to do with Keyless Go. That button was an optional extra. I bought one for my truck and it was about $30.

The sure fire way to know if a truck has Keyless Go is to look at the exterior door handles. If they have a small black button (square) on each handle of the truck, it has keyless go. If no button then it doesn't.

If you do have buttons on all the handles, then you can order a Start button to plug in where the key would normally go. It just plugs in and works instead of the key.

If no buttons on handles, then you can't install a Start button because it won't do anything.

Hope this helps!
