Why why why does the manufacturer say to disassemble the passenger half of the interior to access the cabin filters when it takes maybe three to four seconds to get at them from under the hood? 
On a slightly related note, can anyone recommend an independent shop in the Phoenix AZ area? Mine recommended replacing the cabin filters, which literally appear like new. I tapped them on the floor to dislodge any debris and not a single atom of anything fell out. There is no visible dirt between the pleats at all. And they left my driver's side air intake hose disconnected so I was sucking in air from behind the radiator on one side. Not impressed. I've been pleased with them until now. Maybe they hired a new tech.
