Front Brembo brake pads
Just received Brembo brake pads for our '07 GL450.
First take is that these are the nicest looking brake pads that I've seen in a long time. I'm installing them on Friday along with new rotors so I'll let everyone know how they work out.
Amazon has these for $6x.xx with free shipping.

So far so good! The old pads still had a lot of pad left on them but they were very noisy. The Brembo pads so far have been very quiet and they look nice! Only 100 miles on them so far...

Did the new pads not come with a new clip?

What about the rubber bushings for the pins? Did you reuse them?

I just installed Centric 105 pads (Posi-Quiet Ceramic) with Centric 125 rotors (High carbon with painted/coated non-friction surfaces.)

I have used this combination on a few cars and have always been satisfied.


What is with MB and there odd size hex wrench (9mm) for the caliper pins?
