2010 GL450 Bixenon?
Hi,
I just purchased a pre-owned 2010 GL450 and noticed that the xenons were only for the low beam and another halogen light was used for the high beams. Were these supposed to be bi-xenons (where the low and high are powered by the same xenons)? Anyone else notice this?

Bi-Xenon, a single headlight to generate both high and low beam, When low beam is selected, the light beam is partially shielded by a moving shutter..so with that said I think you get a brighter Light from the Projector "Xenon" Plus from the additional light from the HIGH Halogen Blub

I did read somewhere that the xenon high beam does shine (shutter shield moves away) even though the halogen high beams turn also on. Are you confirming that this is what happens? I am not able to try this out on my car as they're fixing some scratches on the bumper for me.
