Person on the end can't hear me...Iphone 6s Plus / Bluetooth Adapter

I recently purchased the Bluetooth Adapter for the center console connection. I also have Viseo adapter the glove compartment.
I opted to jump to Iphone from Android as I read that Iphone integrates the Command system better.
Everything works except when making a call, the person on the end can't hear me.
Searching for a solution, I found there could be an issue with Apple's IOS software. I also read that the Command unit has firmware updates. I'm also wondering if there is an issue with the Bluetooth adapters being hooked up at the same time.
Has anyone experienced this problem and found solutions?

I had the same thing when I first got the car. It turned out that there was an actual module missing - it was one of the electronic modules that is mounted under the second-row seat.
If you're lucky, though, it's just that the mic is turned off. On the Command screen, it's a little deceiving since if you want the mic turned ON, the display needs to say MIC OFF.
But if your vehicle didn't have the bluetooth setup as original equipment (it is sometimes an optional thing), then you may be missing modules... or they were removed.
Does the instrument cluster display say "phone ready" (or something like that)?

With the adapter connected, phone ready or something of that nature displays on the dash. Or if I hit the menu it may move iPod. Before the purchase of the adapter, I think it said No Phone.
