Our schedules didn't mesh very well today and I only had a chance to meet with him for a few minutes. He did say that he did all adaptations after replacing the pressure and quantity control valves. He said something about "going through the full list".
We have tentatively made plans to do a drive (with laptop hooked up) at the beginning of next week.
Clvincent... Is it because there are sensors (pressure/flow?) to know when the filters are too dirty/plugged? And they have to be reset after new filters are put in? I don't actually know - just guessing!
EDIT: Oh, forgot to mention that I double checked and there were no codes - either current or stored, anywhere.

correct. engine adaptations need to be reset after air filter replacement. there are airflow sensors before and after the filters that measure delta and use it to calculate age of filter and fuel amounts/ injection timing. failure to reset them after replacing air filters according to mercedes will result in loss of engine performance and failure to properly calculate the next service type.

Still haven't been able to get our schedules to match up. The tech is going to be off next week so it will likely be after the new year.
