So, here's my issue: Once the ignition is shut off, when the drivers door is opened electronics (radio, etc) is supposed to shut off also, mine doesn't. Sometimes it does, and sometimes it doesn't. I usually have to use the key to manually turn it all off (and not the push button on/off), and when I have to do that, I can't use the keyless function to lock/unlock doors upon exit or return. I know it seems trivial, but does anyone know how to fix this issue? Or even where this issue is stemming from? Anyone with a similar issue? It's really annoying...

 

Your driver door ajar sensor needs to be verified via star/ das for proper functionality. That is where I would start

seems like any mercedes independent shop with a star could do this

please let us know if this solves the problem, sounds like something we could all have issues with in any model
