New Winter Rims and Tires - DMV2
Well, it has finally consistently been below 40 degrees for me to install the new winter rims and tires that I purchased back in September/October. I ended up purchasing 265/60r18 Bridgestone Blizzak DMV2 (DM-V2). The tires that were on the vehicle were 275/50r20 Bridgestone Dueller H/L 400 run flats.
I wanted to provide a few photos for those also searching the forums in the future for information on snow tires. I provided a few comparison images as well for easy view of rim and tire differences.
Now for some more snow to really put them to the test.
I ended up finding 18" OEM Mercedes wheels from a 2009 GL450 and picked up a set of brand new OEM Mercedes TPMS from eBay.

Nice setup. I have both rims as well but bot sets have all season Michelins. Considered getting a dedicated winter tire but winters are relatively mild here and decided not to bother. First car in a while that I am not running dedicated snow tires in the winter on.
