GL450 2007
DVD usage

Hi.

I just bought my first MB GL450, 2007.

It has 2 screens in the back and one remote. I do not know where to put the DVD, what to select and so on ... Can somebody please help me and give me information how to make the DVD work.

Also send me information where the Aux1 and Aux2 connectors are located ?

Kind regards from Iceland.

2012 GL350
I am unsure if the 2007 RSE is the same as my 2012, but I'll tell you about mine.

In the rear, there is a pull out DVD player in the bottom of the center console that sits between the 2 front seats. If you have climate control in the rear, it just under the controls. The aux inputs should also be located in this pull out/drop down.

Mine also has a 6 disk changer in the COMAND center in the front radio. This can send the signal to any of the monitors. I think this is a great feature, as we can easily choose a different movie/tv show.

The remote will allow you to turn on the RSE and also choose the input that you want displayed on the screen. Again, don't know if it carries back to the 2007 model, but I could technically have 3 different sources playing on my 3 screen if I wanted. The remote would let you select one for each of the RSE monitors.

Hope this helps. I apologize if the 2007 model is different from mine, but it could steer you in the right direction. Good luck.

Do you have headphones for the RSE? I have played a movie from the rear DVD player, so I am unsure if you can send that source through the car stereo. The headphones can be chosen to listen to any of the RSE sources.
