Replace outer front blinker bulb?

Replace outer front blinker bulb?
Is there a relatively easy way to replace the front outer blinker bulb? I don't even know that I can feel where it goes into the headlight housing. Can this be done without removing the headlight?

Bulbs difficult to remove on Gl due to lack of space
bad design. Very tight. Depending on which bulb may have to take to dealer to get replaced. Some require bumper to be dropped

I tried unsuccessfully a bunch of different ways of getting to the bulb before just jamming my hand behind the headlights. i could barely get my fingers on them to undo the electrical connector and then give it a quarter turn to get them out. It isn't easy. Unless you drop the bumper, I don't think there is any other way to make it "easy" to access them. I tried to remove the headlight, remove a panel and go in from below, and remove the fender liner without luck.
