ADBlue= Planned service visit
Have always kept AdBlu filled, the warning msg came on made me puzzled. Having recently filled with 5gals, I suspected MB trickery once again. This time the counter kept whittling down to zero. Looked at the forum boards and the conclusion was a software update. Why in the world does a vehicle that has no internet connection, no time sensitive programming software need an update to software?
MB has built into their vehicles forced service visits, regardless of the vehicle's function or operation.
Software update cost was the trashcan diagnosis charge of $177 plus get this $43 for 2 gals of AdBlu.
Best part, the service invoice stating they added 6.43 gals. is like the phrase, "you can keep your healthcare..."
on top of that they chart that they inflated the tires to 32psi. Last I checked it is still 34psi F/36psi R.
They don't call them stealerships for no reason.
