Headlight wiring!
2008 GL. Went to change burnt out headlight bulb and discovered the wiring insulation was crumbling off the wire leaving exposed wire. How difficult is it to change out the wiring harness for the lamps? You would think MB would use better quality wiring. Time for these German engineers to go back to school!

Sometimes you're paying a premium for the brand, not necessarily the quality you'd expect. Common with the Euro Brands, not very maintenance friendly.
