Adding Bluetooth to Aux Input Port

I have the "puck" thingy in the center armrest for cell phone bluetooth, which works very well. But I can't stream music from my phone over bluetooth (which, if I understand correctly, is normal for this model year and options). I do have the Aux input (no Ipod connector) in the glovebox and music from my phone will work perfectly fine that way. But it would be nice if it was wireless so rear seat passengers could do it, too... without a long cord getting in the way.
I've found some very inexpensive bluetooth dongles (is that the right term?) that plug into the Aux input. BUT, and here's where my question comes in, will that interfere with the operation of phone calls? For example, if I'm streaming music via bluetooth (through the aux input) and a phone call comes in, will I still get the phone call (along with the music sound "going away" during the call)?
I suppose I could get one of those dongles and try it, but was curious if anyone already knew the answer.
Your phone should be connected to two different sources:
1. The Mercedes Bluetooth (for phone calls only)
2. The media dongle that's connected to the AUX port in the glove box (which also uses wireless bluetooth to connect to phone's music/gps apps, sound, etc).
When a call comes in, the streaming music should cancel or silence when a call comes in to the primary Mercedes bluetooth source. When the call ends, the music streaming will resume.

Is yours connected through the Aux jack, or through an iPod jack? Or, does it not matter... meaning it should still function regardless of which style jack the phone is plugged into?
Tip: make sure you have a working account with ITunes Music to activate the music streaming and sound features in your phone. Sometimes, I have to leave ITunes music app on so I may use the other apps like Waze, Pandora, Spotify.

Thanks for the tip regarding the music app. I'm guessing it must already be "on" because I can stream music in my wife's Passat.

I ended up getting a BT thing that's made by iSimple, called "BluJax". It's very compact and will even turn off automatically after 5 minutes of non-use. I leave it plugged into the 3.5mm aux jack in the glovebox all the time. It seems to be working very well. If a phone call comes in, the music pauses as you would expect. From what I've gathered, though, this "pausing" is more a function of the actual phone, and not so much the BT unit, itself. Meaning, the phone controls that functionality so, probably, any BT unit would work.

As far as "configuring my phone"... It must have already been setup for that because all I did was plug the thing in and play music. I suppose that's what they call "plug-n-play"!

The command system will act and recognize your iphone as an ipod and show and display your song titles and music on the screen. Hit and miss with spotify etc though.
For your aux port, try the Coolstream Duo from the same manufacturer from CarPro. It can charge from that same Ipod connector and just uses straight up 3.5mm aux jack to play your tunes.
I think cost was 70 vs 30....
