SRS light
Will the SRS light go off once a problem is corrected or must it be reset?
Dealer says my driver's side seat belt buckle/latch sensor is the cause. (And they charged me $64.50 to tell me this even though it was there for other stuff) I've heard the wire going to the buckle is a possible culprit. I've checked it though. I've also heard something about contact cleaner in the slot? I don't really want to replace the $350 latch.

Alx, I'm not sure if that is correct. I replaced my fuel pump and filter and in doing so, I happened to screw something up as the right rear srs light came on. This along with my right front SRS which goes on and off as the passenger shift in the seat. I screwed around with the wires under the left rear passenger seat and I guess the problem got corrected as the right rear SRS malfunction is no longer there. Also, the SRS malfunction and light still constantly goes on and off when the passenger shifts in the seat

The SRS light has been on for three months and last night with an older passenger in the seat behind me the SRS light went off and blinked on/off for the trip. I suspect a wire issue as I was unable to get the light to change whilst moving the buckle part around.

A true srs failure will lit and stay lit until you reset the corresponding errors via star. If your srs light goes on and off I believe you have a wiring rather than srs module issue...
Wiggle things around and see if you can narrow it down. It could be a bad ground or somebody kicked one of the exposed connectors under the seat...
