Cam housing plugs - Aftermarket vs. OEM?

Getting ready to take on the PCV valve & cam housing plugs, in hopes this addresses my oil consumption issue. Both were found to be leaking, though what seepage there is would not account for the oil consumption.

Question: The prices on the plugs seem kinda wild. I can't find a decent price on the small plugs. Large plug is freely available, but small plugs are like twice the price each. It's weird.

But there is aftermarket. Any feedback on the Dorman plug set (917-127)?

Changed the separator and all three plugs. Used the Dorman plugs; they seemed fine.

It's an easy job. Just make sure you take the time to clean around where the plugs and separator were leaking. Clean the seating surface inside the plug holes. Oil up the plugs and holes and, on the separator, the o-ring, seating surface, shaft, and inner seal.

The old plugs may have extremely brittle components. Pull out very gently or you will go nuts trying to ensure that the little chunks of plastic did not go flying into the motor.

The rubber ring and flange on the separator were very "tired". The ring had been flattened like I have never seen a ring get flattened.

Reassembly was easy; with the surfaces oiled, the plugs slid right in, with a bit of snugness at the last bit as the o-ring conformed.

Question: If the oil was going into the intake, would there be any benefit to cleaning the intake, like by spraying throttle body or MAF sensor cleaner in while the engine is running?
