2010 GL450, even with the selected feature to turn ON DRL they won't turn on. I've checked the bulbs and they are in working order, also, all 3 fuse boxes were checked for blown ones and none were found.
Upon selecting ON for DRL in vehicle lighting the DRL won't power on when in Auto mode, BUT the main lowbeam/ headlight turn on instead? I was under the impression only the DRL should remain lit and not main headlight (h7). Unless I'm going into the wrong choice selection.
This is how they should look, only lower lit and not main low beams. The lower right dome-like are fog light..... the lower left (outter) are DRL.
The pic is just reference on how it should look but my GL is the same appearance.
I've seen on here in other threads where only the lower outter dual lights are for DRL mode. The inner are fog lights. Though my outter bulbs work they just don't turn on when activated. Also in the benz video people have the outter working. :-/

I thought the headlight DRL mode was general. I drove an unrelated MB the other day and it had the same mode choice. What posts are you talking about?
What does your manual say?
What trim package provides the dual lower lights?
FYI, put your vehicle year in your "drives" part of the profile. No need for the MB; this is mbworld, after all.
