c on the 450 is oil/filter change, air filters change, cabin filters change. 3 hours of labor plus parts. about $500-600 at your local star-struck dealer

The 2010 maintenance booklet also states that "Replace spark plugs (except engine 642)"...which I assume is the diesel.

So, spark plugs need to be added to the list too.

BTW, at 80k/mi you'll also be due for the "Automatic transmission - oil and filter change". It may be worth it to have this done at 60k/mi since it's been over six years.

i dont know where you are reading this from...

the 722.9 tranny requires one oil change at roughly 40k miles once (yes, you should change it every 50k miles thereafter, but it is not in the book)

and plugs are not part of service c...

Buddy I'm just quoting the Mercedes Maintenance Manual:

https://www.mbusa.com/vcm/MB/Digital...ce-Booklet.pdf

Now I'm not saying that spark plugs are part of Service C...I am just pointing out that that MB Maintenance Manual states that they should be replaced at 60k/mi (page 36).

Ah, that one. Yes. You are correct. But usually the truck monitors ignition and will request plugs - usually service d or f. Happens around 100k miles.
