Hi All

Had this message just this afternon.

Started the car, select gear to D, message came up ..... "Not in P" although already at D.

Off Engine, started engine again and same thing. At both times, car does move forward when I press the accelerator.

Off Engine, waited for 5 sec, and all is good.

Anyone had this experience or what do you think?

Were your doors and trunk fully closed?

"Not in P" alarm.... can't find anything in the manual

this message comes up most often when your car is in "d","r" or "n" and a door or trunk is ajar.

I think u guys right.
Did not slam the door hard enough..... and possibly due to iphone cable between the door and side dash
