Got the Arnott air bag installed

So I noticed the rear truck getting low after sitting for 3 days, so called Rock auto and got the one arnott sent to me. Getting it out was easy hard to remove old line but not bad, I do not like how the arnott has you just push in the new air line after a test drive mine popped out I had to pull fuse and push it back in when you pull it back a little you can feel a little bite occur guess I did not get it the first time. Good product just hope that line stays in I will call them Monday to check with them about it.

Rear bags need to be replaced in pairs.... push fitting? That doesn't sound right... I haven't dealt with aftermarket bags, but original ones have screw in lines that stay put.

I believe he is talking about the air hose that is just pushed in. The air hose has a line on it showing where it needs to be pushed to. once it is pushed to that line and pulled to lock it in, it is good. the both use the brass fitting and ferrule but the one from arnott only requires you to push it in to seal.

+1 when I did the Arnott bags it had me just push in the air tubing. No problems even after many, many months but it did seem a little strange at first.

Been driving all is good. you do have to pull it out a little for it to grab the air line. Working good do not see any difference with just the one new air shock in the rear. Rock auto had the best price also.

Said it a million times and saying it again: I'm not a fan of dicking around with the fittings when you change the bags. Frankly more likely to do harm than good.
