07 or more like a 12 GL 450?
Hello
I am in the market for a replacement work vehicle to replace my beloved 2002 Toyota Sequoia that is getting a bit old and ugly.
My question really is there any huge differce between say a 2007 or a 2012 GL450? I need a SUV to put tools and house supplies in the back and it also needs to tow at times. I am not that much into tech stuff either so that really isn't a big concern to me. I love MB and when I am not in my S65 that is my baby I would like to be in another MB like the GL450.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I thought the X166 started in 2013?
I am more wondering if the first year or two has a bunch of issues that may have been worked out after a few years.
I previously had a 2000 S500 and it had a few first year run issues. Then I got a 2003 S55 and many of the kinks had been worked out.

X166 did start in 2013. I also read that it has a Consumer Reports top ten cars not to buy. My 2007 has been rock solid so far at 200k+ miles. I do like the GL63 so I may make the jump.

No, there is not a huge difference between the 2007 and 2012 model years. Just a few small interior changes, exterior changes, and addition of blind spot warning.
