Brake pad time input needed
Well 43k on my 2010 and its time for front and rear pads, are most of you doing rotors or just pads? I will be getting my set up from rock auto just not sure if I should get only pads. Fronts rotors look good, but rear has some lines so they may have to go. Anyone know stock front thickness I may mic mine to see whats left Thanks

I just replaced the pads on mine. The rotors were all well within specs and didn't have any significant ridges.
My rule has always been that if the rotors are thin but within spec, then I'll replace them. If they are well within spec and have big ridges, then I'll have them turned down before I reinstall them, but a lot of places won't do it for you anymore for liability reasons.

Rockauto is generally pretty good. sak335 is correct, most places won't resurface them anymore or the cost is prohibitive and it's cheaper to buy new ones. Don't go cheap on the pads. Cheap pads don't last long and they have lots of brake dust.
