Thumbs up Toyo Versado CUV 275/55-19 2008 GL320 cdi

I just turned over 50,000 on a set of Toyo Versado CUV's 275/55-19. I run these on a 2008 MB GL 320 cdi. The original tires, Continental CrossContact lasted 23K (1st Set) and 29K (2nd Set) respectively, before I read on this Forum about the Versado's. They are quiet, good ride and handling, and good wet weather tire. I still can probably go another 2 to 3,000 miles since I have 4/32" tread left and will definitely put on another set. I thought about trying the new Michelin Premier LTX, but at $280 / each installed compared to $180.00 / each installed and Road Forced Balance for the Versado, this is a no brainer. The Versado are a 50,000 mile warrantied tire, which is exactly how it preformed. Like my tire guy said, some tires preform better on certain vehicles. I highly recommend the Toyo Versado CUV for your 2008 GL 320 cdi. Good Luck

i looked at those but opted for the toyo open country q/t they have a 50 or 60k mile warranty aswell, i previously had the toyo open country h/ts and those got 60k before replacement. i got them for 1k installed with included new tpms sensors and a warranty for the tires should they get damaged etc etc though mine are the 20in wheels

I put CUV's on mine, as well, about a year and half ago. Like you, after reading about them (primarily) on this forum. Also, like you, I seriously considered the Michelin's as I'm generally a Michelin fan. But I just couldn't justify the price difference.

I've only got about 9K miles on them, but I have been VERY happy with them. I'm glad to hear they are wearing well for you. Normally I would say something like "for the price, they can't be beat". But that would lead one to believe that they might be little low on quality. And I don't think that is the case, at all. They are VERY nice! If I remember correctly, I think I paid about $800, installed. I was happy about the price, and then even happier once I got some miles on them and found out how quiet and stable they are.

i am on my 3rd set of those. best tire for the money. period.

very quiet all the way to the end, excellent treadwear (last me about 40k miles), good all season traction performance. shop them around and you can find them for about $800 delivered to your door. you simply cannot beat that with another tire of similar performance.

I have to agree with all above, I have them on my GL and have over 52,000 on them and expect to get the rest of the summer out of them, they are by far the best tires I've had on the car, still quiet even though they are almost done, great in snow, rain and dry. I cannot say enough good about them.
