gl350- what's the dipstick behind oil filter for ?
Hello, couple of questions while I familiarize myself with this engine, right behind the oil filter there's a black box with cap that has dipstick marked in 1/4 incrememts, what is that for ? The oil dipsticks on the passenger side front
Also, behind the engine oil dipsticks there's a plastic canister next to glow plug controller, what's the function of that ? It's a hollow plastic container that's fitted with an oring .. i can take photos if needed, thats for the help guys

2nd I think what you are referring to is the black (barcoded) glow plug relay, just to the right is the (silver colored) controller and to the right of that is the Charge air cooler.
