compressor or airbag

2011 GL550

compressor or airbag

Hi all,
My 2011 GL550 started to give me the airmatic malfunction message, and the car will drop really low but i can still fit about 3 fingers, and when I try to raise the car with the engine running, the malfunction message turn on, and sometimes I get the compressor cooling down message too. Car doesn't go any higher though. Does this mean I need a new compressor? or it's a leak somewhere? car has about 68000 miles on it.

you have to replace the air compressor front passenger side, many many topics on this a quick search on here or google will show you location and diy replacement

I know where the compressor is, I was asking for the piston rings.
