gl350 hesitation in driveway
Hello folks, I have a weird issue, if the truck is driven after a week it hesitates to the extent I have to lift the foot off the throttle couple times till it stops juddering and smoothed out after maybe 2 mins of driving ... no hard acceleration, all fluids are new, only happens if driven after couple days, no more hesitation after the initial minute or 2, truck always idles about 10 mins before driving

if it does it only when in gear it could be a few expensive things (tc or clutches) in the tranny. i will begin by having the atf level checked and tcu reset. how many miles on the truck?

Hey Alex, it does it only when in gear and ONLY first 30 secs or so, never again .. atf was professionally replaced by mb dealer for 670 bucks they used 16 litres of atf fluid on the invoice ... center diff fluid was changed by me using mb atf at half a bottle.... if the truck is not in gear the engine idles smooth, also if we keep driving daily it doesn't happen
52k on the truck, thanks for the help

Probably did dialysis .. how can I check trans fluid level, open the pan while idling at 40 degree C and a light stream should come out ?

Dialysis is not common or approved procedure for 722.9
You cannot check it easily. Tranny temp needs to be at specific value and then the drain plug is removed and a drippy stream of fluid is looked for. Solid stream or no drip is indication of overfilled or underfilled tranny.
