Yesterday I had to be towed home after my GL 450 had the ABS, ESP Unavailable lights came on. I stopped to read the manual, which said the car was still operable/safe. Started the car again and when putting my foot on the gas it sounded and felt like I was going thru gravel and then it stopped and wouldnt go forward at all. I sat for awhile and then tried to move the car to a safer area and realized that I could drive in reverse?? Any ideas...just had a new starter and a new battery put in about 6 mos ago. Car only has 85k miles.

Mine did the same thing when my ABS wheels speed sensor went bad, I bought a scanner and found both rear sensors were bad about 150.00 each and 1hr job to change both.
