Fuel injector seal replacement.

Fuel injector seal replacement.
So next on my list is the fuel injectors. I have one or two on the left side leaking.
I was planning to have mechanic pull and change seals on the next service when o do my filter and intake filters.
Was as curious if any one had issues removing. I can see the black tar looking mess around them. At 150k. I was not sure if any point to have them rebuilt while out. The truck seems to run fine. I think fuel economy could be better which has me wondering if dredging them up would help.
I found on facility tjat that would change around 300 an injector, which I thought was a bit much.
Thanks
steve

I did this job as part of replacing the timing chain. This was probably one of the easiest parts of the job. $300/injector is a ripoff; it's $1.50 in parts for each one and just not that much work.
Here is my thread if you want to see what is involved:

Thank you.
300$. Was a company to rebuild each injector. I have two leaking I can see. While at the mechanics. I was going to have home change all the seals and get ahead of future leaks.
While out was considering having them rebuilt. At 150k may not be needed. Was curious if any have had to replace injectors much ?

Leaky injector symptom usually involves a bad seal and not the injector itself.
