2010 Gl350 wheel speed sensor replacement
Does anyone have instructions on how to replace the wheel speed sensor on the drivers side front wheel of a 2010 GL350? My mothers abs and esp lights are on and she says that the breaks have tried to apply to that wheel a few times. Another member had the same issue on his GL550. Her vehicle is now going into limp mode every so often and our local dealership is an hour and a half away. I don't trust the vehicle on the interstate. Interestingly enough the dealer just had the vehicle for 28 days last month replacing the timinging chain, def fluid level sensor, and then trying to trace and electrical issue. They stated on the service order that they replaced the fuse box. Anyhow instructions on how to replace the wheel speed sensor or what all you have to go through to do it would be appreciated!

Recently changed my rear sensor
Its a pretty straight straight forward.
1. Break off wheel nuts.
2. Jack up car and place axle stand.
3. Remove wheel nuts and wheel.
4. Remove bolt with torx bit.
5. Follow cable and unclip.
6. Clip in new one and route cable as you remove original.
7. Wiggle and pull sensor from hub.
8. Clean area.
9. Place new sensor.
10. Replace for bolt.
Tips:
Use the correct jacking points or you will more than likely squash two pieces of metal and have an annoying creaking noise which sounds like bad bushes. Took me weeks to figure out what it was.
When cleaning area try to prevent debris falling into void where the sensor is usually located I used a rolled up piece of card.
You may need to get some wd40 and wire brush on the toes bolt due to it being corroded and full of dirt.
Generic location on all cars:

Good thorough advice, and I agree job is pretty simple.
But I would add that if you don't want to do this more than once, you should buy OEM parts. I bought a full set of knock offs on eBay for the same price as the OEM front. The first one I put in didn't work at all, even after clearing all codes. 2nd one worked for a month then quit. Rear ones are slightly different than front, and I assume are not compatible.
Haven't yet made it to dealer for OEM part because failed sensor is only affecting ABS and ESP, not locking up the brake.

Don't be tempted by the cheap ones, its a false economy. I opted for Delphi sensors due to the vehicle not going above 10mph before the brakes kicked in. The Delphi parts had a very quick turnaround time for them to be posted. I've had Delphi parts for previous cars and can honestly say I've never had a problem with them. I've had it in for about 3 months now and no problems.
