Larger reservoir for transfer case.

As a follow up to my report about towing, and the deterioration of the transfer case ATF, I wonder if anyone has tried adding a larger reservoir for the transfer case.
There looks to be a vent on the top of the case, and if it isn't sealed, then what's to stop you from tapping into the drain and fill ports with custom made lines, and attaching them to a 1-2 liter reservoir. There is a space for a reservoir, a few inches back of the transfer case on the driver side. If you made it out of clear material, you would even get a visual on when to change the fluid.
Thoughts?

You have way too much time on your hands, and the sad fact is that someone may believe you and cause big problems for themselves---why not use your time to think of ways to liquefy all the methane you generate daily and sell it for home cooking fuel in Syria.---that's Nobel Prize stuff!

Wow. And you accuse me of having too much time on my hands? I have seen other posts of yours that are equally insulting. "Fanatic" is an apt description for you. I hope someone flags you to an admin.

Just change fluid every 30k miles. It is very easy and takes 15 minutes total.
