Excessive tire wear on 2015 GL63 AMG
We purchased this car in February of this year and quickly added Vossen wheels with 285/40/22 ZR, XL rated Pirrelli PZero's. We got less than 10K miles from them and brakes aren't far behind.
The tires wore evenly left to right and have been rotated but they wear faster in the rear.
It is AWD

The pass side rear will wear the fastest. This is normal.
oh, and get rid of the p zeros. This has to be the worst overpriced piece of junk tire at any price point.

On the tire
I also got me 285/40R22 with IOTA ST68 and I have worn them out in 15K miles as well. These tires are high performance tires and its a big heavy truck. With a GL63 I am sure you are driving it bit heavy foot which heck thats why its an GL63. I am going to replace my tires with an H rated tire either a Falken Ziex S/TZ-05 285/40R22 or switch to a 275/45R22 Michelin Premier LTX (Its a 3% oversized tire) but has a UTQG of 620..
FYI the UTQG is 220 for the Pirelli PZero's so yes they suck .. UTQG is Uniform Tire Quality Grading to me the higher then better I use a rule of thumb if it has a UTQG of 220 then it should be good for 20K miles (in theory) a 620 should be good for (620*100)-10%=56K miles
