White Battery Malfunction message

So I’ve already changed the alternator and aux battery. The white battery symbol is still on. What else could it be? Does it need to be driven up to a certain speed before it will reset?

This 2007 GL450 was bought in July and has had the airmatic suspension pump replaced, gasket in in upper oil pan replaced, rack and pinion replaced, and as of yesterday the alternator and aux battery replaced. I feel like I’m leaving something out...

I know it is a pain to reach but i would check the connection and voltage on the aux battery first. the white battery symbol should be the Aux battery (a red battery symbol is the charge on the main battery). Not sure if you need a system reset but that may help...

I had the same light after my GL sat for an extended period of time. I bought a new main battery and new aux battery at Baterries Plus and the terminals on the new aux battery were in the same position as the original but the terminals for positive and negative were reversed! I would also recommend checking the connections at the aux battery, and because you've got to take the main battery out, I would have it checked at an auto store as well. Let us know how you get it resolved.
