Rear hatch handle trim removal

Rear hatch handle trim removal
My rear hatch handle is getting intermittant and sometimes I have to squeze it real hard to get the hatch to open. I ordered a new switch but I can not figure out how to remove the trim around the handle to replace it
I have removed the screws and tried to pry it off but it seems to be held in place around the sides of the handle. I did not pull the trim real hard as I did not know if it would snap out or if it was bolted in place from the inside of
the hatch. Any ideas on how to remove the trim????
