Max/min tire width on factory rims
I have a 2009 GL450 with the factory rims running factory size tires 275/55/19 and the rims as stated on the door sticker are 8,5X19.
I ran the 8,5X19 rim size through one of those online charts to see what tire width size range I can contemplate and the results were interesting.
The min was 225 and the max was 255 for this rim size but Mercedes appears to be running 275's on 8,5X19.
Am I missing something?
