Radio stays on after exiting car
So I've noticed that sometimes when I shut of my car, open my drivers side door, get out and close the drivers side door that the radio screen is still on displaying whatever was on the screen when I was in the car. Is that normal?
I'm assuming this cars are big power users so they wouldn't want to leave electronic components one any longer than needed.

Just to confirm, this is AFTER you remove the key? The radio will stay on after engine shut-off if the key is in the ignition. If you have keyless go, which I have had before but not now, I seem to remember it stays on until you get far enough away from the vehicle, or you lock the doors.

I have keyless.
I noticed it was still on when I was standing outside the car after I locked the car.
Next time I'll walk away from the car to see if distance is a factor as you eluded to.

Not sure if this is related to what your experiencing or not.... i have keyless and when i push the button to turn off the vehicle the engine stops but the main stereo stays on until i open the driver door. however if the dvd player is being used to watch a movie on the RES, it will continue to play for another 30 secs or so even after the door is opened.
