2011 GL 450
Epic Saturday

So brought my 2011 GL450 into my local Firestone (friend is manager) to have them check a noise in right front of wheel! while there had them do my Mobil 1 oil change (i buy they put in for $20) and put new tires (275/55r20 Bridgestone dueler A/T revo 2) on. So front wheel bearing was toasted bad and local parts store send wrong bearing so they put me in a rental car (brand new grand cherokee limited) until they get the correct wheel bearing. this is the first repair i have had to do on my GL since i just purchased it 2 months ago from a local dealer (non mb) but a ford dealer lol. purchased a drive train warranty on it (aftermarket) just in case ( i work at a salvage yard and dont see many of these)

so purchased the 2011 GL450 used $22,900 with 69k on it
traded my 2006 Commander Limited with a slipping trans (got 4k on trade owed nothing)
and purchased the $1,999.00 extended 2yr 24k drive train warranty (drive about 10k a year) just in case the motor , trans, transfer case , diff's,shafts ect go)

do far i have love the GL just wish the wheel bearing didn't go out! oh well at least its Football Sunday and i have a bunch of VT Craft Brew in the fridge!
