Keyless Go Module failed
2012 GL550. 60k miles. Suddenly, all the Keyless Go functions stopped working... no push-to-start, no unlocking by touching the handles. Took it to dealer and they advised Keyless Go module needs to be replaced for $900, part and labor. Ouch! So I paid them their $150 diagnostic fee and took the car without fixing it. I could buy the part alone for $580 and replace it myself but honestly, the features if Keyless Go aren't worth that kind of money, imho. The key fobs work normally, btw.
Anybody else have this issue?
Any ideas where i can buy a used Keyless Go module? I'd fix it if it were only a few hundred bucks. I've looked online and have seen some on ebay but the part numbers don't match what the parts department said I needed, and I don't want to spend money experimenting with a non-exact matching used part.

Hi guys,
I am having the same problem here and after all the diagnostics, I came to same conclusion that the Keyless module is bad. I have found some on eBay that may work according to compatibility chart. My question is if I get a this replacement or new one, is there a procedure to reprogram the module or pair the FOB again? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

FYIW- Have any of you changed your battery or had your GL's battery checked? Strange things happen when the batteries are going bad. I'd at the very least get the battery checked (most places do it for free) before you start making big purchases.

Try the fuse
Temporarily remove the fuse for the KG then replace.. also check to see that it did not get wet
if you replace the module you will need a new key from MB to program, the old ones will still function to start car
