Hi Folks,

My GL350 disel would not start byt cranking strong. After the crank and turn off the car, there is strange noise from the turbo area. I have uploaded to youtuble the noise video. The squeaking sound will last a few times but the humming noise will last longer.

That is normal sounds from one of the actuators motors under or around the turbo. Nothing to worry about there. Did the vehicle finally start or are you having starting issues still?

thanks, that is a bit relief. i also found the side small hose leading to the air duct connecting area is very loosely connected. will thay cause a problem?

no, no luck on the starting.

that sound is normal,
is it not cranking, or cranks but doesn't start ? First one could be related to battery first, second one could be glow plug controller, depending on what codes you get, I had to change mine not too long ago its very easy to do,

thanks. did not ger code. it cranks well and the glow plug sign does come on when turing the key. the wether here is warm but still no start.
