The back of my driver's seat on my 2008 GL450 opened up like a clamshell randomly (gotta love that MB quality!). I took it to the dealership and they said they had to repair the two plastic "seat clips" that apparently hold the back of the seat on. This repair, of course, is absurdly expensive, about $800. I've tried looking for these parts but I can't seem to find them. Does anyone happen to know what they are talking about or have ideas on other ways to repair this? Here is what the seat looks like:

I have no idea what they attach to, there are no obvious attachment points inside the seat. Does anyone have experience with this?
