The Airmatic is not an expensive system to maintain when you buy from Arnott and install yourself or have an Indy do the work. Don't buy a warranty on account of the Airmatic. The valve body will be the most expensive repair you are likely to experience and that one typically occurs between 75k and 100k miles.

My 2011 GL 350 comes out of the 7 year dealer extended warranty next month. I'm likely to purchase another year of extended coverage from USAA while I look for a replacement for it - With all of the issues my GL has had, I think of it as discounted prepaid maintenance more than an extended warranty.
