Jerk at low speed GL350 2012
I have a GL350 2012 with 40k miles on it. In slow traffic when I take the foot off gas and then place it back a slight jerk is experienced. This only happens at very low speeds. Does not happen If I press the accelerator very gently. Someone told me that it could be due to a worn out rubber coupling between the shaft and transmission. Can someone give me an idea what is defective before I take it to a dealer.

you should keep pressing the accelerator gently and wait until it gets worse so it is easier to pinpoint. (hint- it might go away as it might be some garbage that the tranny has adapted to and that might be a transient state)
otherwise the dealership might sandbag you badly... i can think of 5 things that can be the culprit - from a $150 to $4500

My 08 320 has a similar thing going on, it happens from time to time, it has been like this for years and it is not getting worse. In my case, how smooth I am whit the accelerator does not make a difference.
What are the 5 things you have in mind, maybe I can eliminate few of them on my own? .. and my tranny has a new fluid in it , to that is not the issue. ..thanks
