GL320 Rev chocking at 3,000 rpm , hard shifts
Hi,
Need wise counsel here, please...
I have a 2008 GL320 ( 120k miles) recently it started choking and hard shifting if I rev too fast. If I push accelerator slowly it shifts fine, if I push the acceleration and punch it, it chokes at about 2.5-3k rpm, and then does a weird hard shift
It does not have any issues revving in neutral. Only when it's driving on the road.
No check engine light is on. What could it be ??
I hope it's not my Transmission. Is it a speed sensor or a vacuum leak perhaps ?
Need wise counsel here, please...

So....
I took it down to my Mercedes Indie Mechanic. He drove it, and within 60 seconds said..."Transmission"!
Without having any check engine lights, his check system showed P0894 ( TRANSMISSION - like no oil, solenoids etc)
There was no oil leaking from my Transmission. Perfectly clean.
So....I now need to spend $1,000 to get a VALVE Body with my components remanufactured. 120,000 miles on my odometer.
