2007 GL450 Chassis Number
Hi MB World,
I'm trying to understand what is actually needed when ordering parts for my GL450. When checking on parts I always see a comment that the part is for chassis numbers xxxxx thru xxxxx etc. Is the chassis number they ask for different from the production number off the VIN? If so, where do I find it. I've watch a couple of online videos and heard it may be on the B-pillar where the tire tags are or above the radiator, but I have nothing.
Any advise?

The VIN is 4JGB71E37A186711. The part I need is a power steering pump. This is with the speed sensitive power steering option 213.
