2015 GL450 Extended Warranty, do / don't

2015 GL450 Extended Warranty, do / don't
I have never been a proponent of extended warranties but I've never purchased a MB before.
I purchased my GL450 about 4 months ago from a non MB dealer with 26k miles on it, great carfax and reasonable price. I took it into a local MD dealer for a look over and was told I needed a "B" service, not a big deal. While there I spoke to the service writer about an extended warranty who said MB seem to have problems after 100k miles, well most vehicles do. I spoke with a salesmen who takes care of the sale of extended warranties who said for about $2,600 (zero deductible) they would take care of 3 additional years to 70k miles, seems reasonable. My manufacturers warranty is up in Feb 2019.
Maybe I should just flip a coin to determine if I purchase a 70k mile one, 100k miles one or none at all? I believe the vehicle is currently in great condition after my 4k miles, and maybe one of the best vehicles I've ever owned and I've owned lots in my 71 years. $2,600 is not a lot of money but why waist it if I don't need to.
What do you folks think? I would appreciate your feed back.
