Part of the family now
Just picked up a 2012 GL 450 with 50K on it. Only disappointment is the lack of HID. Thought I had it figured out, if truck had headlight washers, it had HID, but no dice. Also, oddly optioned with Package 1 plus Keyless Go and the appearance package. But got it at a great pice and it is warrantied for 6 years to 150K miles.

Congrats! We too just got a 2011 GL350 with 68K loaded with everything I believe. I have not seen the washers work but the book says after 5 washer activation they are supposed to come up.

I have a 2007 GL450, and mine didn't come with the lightning package either. However, i have successfully done the conversion to the light package using OEM Bi-Xenon headlights and wiring harnesses.

So on a scale of 1-10, how difficult is this? I have already started looking for OEM's, rock auto has them for $560 or so but only 1 side.

Please provide more information on the warranty such as: How much? Was it through the seller? Was it included in the price? I would appreciate any and all information you would be willing to share. Thanks.

It was purchased through the dealer at a cost of $4200. Company is Smart Autocare and this is the advantage plan. I specifically went over the airmatic and it's coverage. Pretty comprehensive policy with a $100 deductible. Coverage is for 6 years and 100K miles. Comparing that to the Ford Premium Care policy I just got with our other new car, that policy is good for 65K miles and cost me $2800. It is also comprehensive and has a $100 deductible. So for a vehicle that cost twice as much as the ford, I did not think the policy was out of line.
