![Question](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/icons/icon5.gif)
We got an indicator that both the left and right low beam lamps were out yesterday. I shrugged and thought it was a funny coincidence as I usually replace them at the same time anyhow. I bought new bulbs today, and put them in to discover that the low beams were still not working. I have been searching forums and other areas that Google would return with no luck. I have check the fuse 112 thinking that it had to be something common to the left and right lamps, but it is good. I should note that the high beams work fine.
I'm going to contact my local dealer tomorrow, but would prefer to repair this myself and save the money.

I would appreciate and tips you can give me on how to diagnose/repair.

So, I have to confess. I misread the owners manual and had looked at the high beams, and not the low beams. I have known all my life that the low beams are on the outside with the high beams inside, but had a severe brain-fart yesterday.
All is well after replacing the bulbs.
