2007 GL 450
Transmission

My car stalls and dies while driving when I slow down. It starts up right away thereafter. Upon careful study, I noticed this is tied to the transmission which does not downshift when I step on the brakes so the car essentially slows to 2mph and dies. There's no shuddering or jerking. Sometimes, It does die when I slow down but when I accelerate thereafter, the car is sluggish cos it's driving out of range and picks up when I reach a certain speed or dies on me. Why AND WHAT DO I DO?

the car needs to be read with star/ das to pinpoint culprit.

most likely your tcu board has failed y3/8n1 and y3/8n2 sensors... and there will be corresponding errors logged
